I only use lil gun for my 220 gr subs, it was the quietest out of my 8" barrel while still reliably cycling, but did require opening my gas port. At 8.5 gr, it gives me an average of 1050fps. CFE BLK was a bit louder, but my goal was to get as quiet as I could. Here's a video comparing my 300...
I've converted a bunch of mine without annealing and have not had any issues, yet. Probably have over 10 loadings on them, but I only shoot them out of an AR.
Have you measured the shoulders on these cases and compared them to cases that fired fine? Do you think it could just be a firing pin issue, maybe needs broken down and cleaned?
