  1. How many primers do you have on-hand

went to a friends after he died, lots of powder for sale. told the estate Company they better let folks know that just cause it said the contents on the outside they better confirm. He was bad about buying bulk and repacking into whatever cans he had around the house. I'm betting they didn't.
  2. How many primers do you have on-hand

Helped my brother find some Large Rifle primers this week. Amazing that small rifle are everywhere and large are non existent. Also seems to say a lot more 7.62 is being loaded for around the world than 5.56.
  3. 22 Jet Rim?

At $200+ on Amazon this one might be better for titewads like me! The Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions Paperback – August 17, 2011 by John J. Donnelly (Author), Judy Donnelly (Author)
  4. 22 Jet Rim?

Brass for it is available on Gunbroker. 22 Hornet brass is also. The link is buy it now, some on auction for less if you're patient. https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/1033331245
  5. Need some information on primer picture

NEXT TIME YOU SEE THAT, MOVE A BIT FURTHER AWAY! First clue was mixed cases signifying reloads.
  6. How many primers do you have on-hand

Talked to a member once who was upset he couldn't get any during a shortage. He said he had 100.000 on hand so apparently that's not enough.
  7. Discolored Brass

I do the same except sometimes I use a dehydrator instead of the oven. Both work well.
  8. Discolored Brass

This in a Thumblers Tumbler model B for rocks. They have a fast one but my wife and I use the same one for different things. I do brass, she does glass and rocks. Never had a dull case since. And as stated above, hot water works best.
  9. On the cheap.. Lee Loader 38sp 357mag . Have you used one?

This, cheap way to see if you like to reload. You can always upgrade.
  10. Buying Reloaded Ammo?

I've loaded off and on for 55 years now, started with a $10 mauser and a Lee 7x57 loader. I was to young to buy bullets but old enough to be sold components, go figure. Over the years lots of folks have asked me to reload for them, I've always offered to show them how instead. I can't think of...
  11. Powder age

Personally I have 30/06 bullets that I loaded around 85 that I still shoot. I have an 8 pound jug of one of the Accurate powders that I bought on sale for under $40 when they first came out, not much left but when I get set back up from moving I plan on using it. That said I had a much newer...
  12. Total Noob Questions about first reloading setup

That RCBS Lock-Out die works great with this press.
  13. 444

Something you have done? Since the 444 is a rimmed case I'm wondering how you overcame ejection problems with a non rimmed 30-06?
  14. .45 ACP Brass

I'd bet you get more here than from any bulk purchaser. That said I've picked them up on the ODT at 3000 a clip. Wouldn't take long to run through a pallet of GlynCo at that rate. You can get that many in a flat rate box.
  15. Brass value question

Signmaker sold me 30/06 at 25 per 200, I thought that was a fair price. If I'm reading the LC case right that round is 66 years old. Wouldn't bother me but that might some.
  16. Total Noob Questions about first reloading setup

SS pins, a good single stage press and powder measure. Buy the rest to play with as needed or wanted. Lots of folks get out of it and have setups ready to buy. I picked up over $3500 worth for $350 because a wife wanted it out of the house
  17. Brass shortage as well? Or just .375H&H?

Out of the normal calibers are tough to find or expensive. Occasionally I'll look for my 222 Remington Magnum. Scarce stuff.
  18. Spent Primers

GA ARMS should have a gazillion of them if you can talk them out of a few.
  19. How can ya tell a feller likes to reload? 25 acp

    I'm impressed.
  20. Best low cost tumbler media and case lube recipe I've ever had

Really like the wet pin tumble. My wife uses the same tumbler for rocks and glass so I sometimes have had to wait!
