  1. use 45lc data for 44 mag target loads???

    Second what 1006 said. You should be fine using lead bullet data for plated bullets. Do not over crimp though,. I use 7.5 to 8 grains of Unique with 240 grain bullets in .44 mag cases with good results.

  2. Powder scale.

    My Ohaus/RCBS has served me well for many years. Keep it clean, check zero before starting and check with a set of weights periodically.

  3. Question on powder for 223

    H 322 and Varget so far using mostly 52-55 grain bullets in 1:12 Remington bolts and my Bushmaster. Want to try CFE223, but can't find it right now. Maybe score some at the Eastman show tomorrow.

    My Stag Model 7 shoots Silver State stuff loaded with the Sierra 110 prohunter so well, I am having a tough time matching it with reloads. So far 322 is proving to be better than 10x. Just starting with 322 and 335 with 115 grain bullets. I have a Remington 700 that shoots the Speer 100 grain...

  5. best all around powders?

    Pistols: 231 or Titegroup Rifles: H335 or Varget for the .223 and H380 or Varget for the .308
