Yep. Though I can't believe I'm going to defend this guy, I never contacted him. I have more money than I have need for the hassle of fighting with an ass hat.

I looked through about a box worth last night and all of tbose headstamps were wcc or win. I know theres others in there. One that ruptured was a +p+ headstamp, but I can't remember what company.
Unfortunately the ammo came off here. Wasn't advertised as reloads (site rules and all I guess)...
The bullets are fine. I'm getting .353 on specs of .355. However I do have a few of t the bad reloads that got missed when I was pulling bullets. There's a definite case bulge on some of them. Not more that a few 100ths, and inside .380 at the broadest, but still, not how they should be...
That sir, is something that didn't cross my mind. I weighed them, 115 gr. But didn't measure them. When we get home from dinner I'll be checking that and replying.

I tried one in my ar9. Case rupture on the first round. I pulled out a handful of those cases last night and measured them. They're over trim length but none exceeded maximum.

Well that sucks. I was hoping tp save those primers since they're made out of unobtatium these days. Probably not worth blowing up a gun though.

The misfires actually occured in a factory barrel. That's the slide off a different gun. Took the pics when I was comparing where the trigger engages and swapping slides. Result was the same with both slides

The powder is a couple of years old, got it from a friend (that I trust) and the data is current from the manufacturer.
After reading all of the smarter than me comments on here and pulling out the pistol I've come up with a new theory.
Currently there's something bent/broken that will allow...
My m&p held up better than that keltec, fortunately. However some of the small parts in the sear block didn't survive. Having to replace the sear block assembly. Bent the slide release detent. Also replacing the extractor because I can't imagine there's not potential damage. One magazine...
I'm not familiar with flash over.
I loaded 3.7 gr of solo 1000 behind a 115 gr jhp. If I can read (questionable) recommended load is 3.4 gr to a max of 4.1gr. So i guess not light, mid? But compared to factory 115 ball the recoil was extremely light.
Also, confession. Its probably been...
Yeah it is. It's hard to tell in the pic but it's also blown back beyond the cartridge rim.
If I understand the question then no. The deformed pic is opposite the rupture on his reload. The other one is mine.
On the third pic you can see where it was bulging along the rupture until the...
Got a question for y'all. I'll try and make a long story short.
Got screwed on some 9mm, overcharged reloads. Had ruptures immediately. Pulled the bullets, trashed the powder, and reloaded a few with a light charge.
Shot a few of those this weekend and had another blow out. What would...
I used to reload 20 years ago. My new equipment will be here tomorrow as well. Maybe we can get together and see what i remember together. You're shooting first mag of every load in one of your guns lol.

I have a guess. The military doesn't use them. I'd be willing to bet all the 147/150gr FMJ out there comes off the same line as the military bullets. There isn't much of a civilian market for FMJ, so it doesn't make business sense to tool up to produce a product with little demand.
