I just trimmed up some 300blk. 150 or so that I chopped and formed before Christmas, was waiting on the trimmer to finish them off. I've got some 125's to load, then going to order some xtreme 150's for a plinking load and probably some 110 30 carbine bullets.
You are wrong again. The 300blk is designed to run either way, subsonic or supersonic without a can. It's original design calls for a pistol length gas system. On a pistol length system it will cycle just fine. On a carbine length system subsonic may not cycle. Personally if I was trying to get...
I wouldn't think that flat spot would make a difference, most motors will come with a sleeve to bush the shaft to 5/8 but I don't think it's going to matter.
Mine is just hard wired to a plug, plug it in and it comes on, unplug and it goes off. In order to assist the rotational rate with mine I can change pulley sizes.
There is a pic of my drying rack. I get as many of the pins out as I can before putting it on the drying rack.
The motor I used is a 1/3 horse from HD supply, it was $80.
During the summer I just put it out in the lawn and spray it down with the hose to rinse them off and then just let them dry. The screen catches the left over pins
I built a track for brass drying.....it's a 3'x2' box made from 1"x2" with a piece of fiberglass screen material on the bottom and a piece of plastic lattice for extra support for 1k of brass.
They are made from pvc pipe. I think 1 is a 4" and one is an 8". It runs on a 1/3hp motor.
If you are the least bit handy you could build one yourself. Material cost to buy the stuff needed isn't worth it to build just one. I'll take some pics when I get home.
I traded into my set up. Got it from Clarke123. I have 2 drums, one holds about 500 223 cases and the other holds about 1k of 223 cases. Haven't done any pistol cases yet.
I love it. Only thing I would suggest is get a great big magnet to run thru your brass first to pull out any possible...
I got the WFT in 300blk today for Christmas. It's a version 1 so it's 300blk only. I'd like to try the version 2 with the changeable pilots and single body....but that's more than I wanted to spend.
