Those look like small amounts of commercial cast bullets, maybe something from a gun show a while back? I remember seeing guys sell similar cast bullets in boxes with hand written labels
Way Too low of a count if it was personal cast with molds. You’d cast 1k or so a session easy…
Here’s...
All great advice mentioned, don’t overlook anything…
Seems like you’ve got a good load, now you’ve just got to REALLY dial it in and take away all variables
Just 55gr Hornady FMJ and some Tight Group, it was nearly hearing safe but wouldn’t cycle the bolt.
I want to say I tinkered with 5 ladder loads to dial in the one that seemed to work best. It was fun but definitely defeated the rounds capabilities to nearly non lethal lol
I usually shoot between 300-500 rounds of 9mm a month and I’ll process that brass and return them back into the containers loaded and ready to go for the next round.
I’m actually on my 14th reload count on a set of 500 currently and they are still gtg. I tend to load mild not wild to preserve...
This is the way
I also recommend washing the steel pins after a while using the same mix for the brass cases.
Sometimes the pins collect dirt/debris/powder and discoloration can occur and brass being cleaned don’t turn out as spiffy!
Did you use the barrel to plunk test free movement? That’s how I dial in a few to easy cycling. Next is just the powder testing to make it cycle reliable
450’s are recommended for ball powders and most bulk 223/556 is a ball powder type of some sort.
I use the 400’s on 3031 and Varget using 77gr SMK and use 450’s on BLC2 and H335 on bulk 55gr FMJ
Never stretched out to 1k but I’ve enjoyed 3031, 150gr GameKings, Remington brass from prior hunting shots, nickel size groups at 100 no problem.
Paper puncher and game load in one
The website seems helpful in identifying which powder and bullets work together.
No experience personally with that caliber at this time though.
