That will work fine for a temporary solution but to do the job right a few tubes of JB Weld down the oil fill is the way to go. Let car run 30 mins and shouldn’t have to worry about the oil leak anymore
Had a pin hole in my oil filter which is located at the front of my motor of my F150...Took a bit to figure it out because oil was being blown all over the place when I would drive.
I have had decent luck selling them on eBay. They have websites you can sell them on but for the most part without proof your a mechanic or a receipt showing you had it replaced it’s hard to sell local. Happy to take it off your hands if you don’t want to mess with it
Congratulations nothing like getting to splurge on something you want after putting in the work. That Ga red interior is going to look even nicer after we get another natty!
Make sure you disconnect the battery and let it sit for at least 30 mins before trying remove covers

I would do a search on CarGurus.com for trucks similar in year, trim, mileage, and title to get a good idea of what the current market will bear. All the car value sites can’t keep up with how fast the trends changes especially with how whacky used car prices are lately. Doing a search of...
It’s rougher than the photos show but as long as the engine is good I should be able to get it good to go pretty easy.
I’ve already looked into upgraded pw steering lines and a better pump while I’m messing with it :thumb:
Update:
Bought the truck leaking power steering fluid and coolant but does crank and drive. Looking for a shop to hook it up to a scanner to check it out good before tossing money at it
That’s my thoughts to but I do want to pay a good diesel mechanic familiar with Duramax motors to go through it to check for any major issues before I nickel and dime myself to death fixing the small stuff. I don’t mind investing in it but if it’s going to take 10k-15k to get road worthy daily...
