However make sure the one you get has th heads fixed, or have them fixed soon after purchase. The ls7 had a valve guide issue among all years. Some dropped a valve... -

I go by "good" private party KBB. Compare that to what similar models are going for and price it to what you think is fair. Then add $1k of "negotiation" to the price.
