  1. Any of you lesbians got experience with Subarus?

My parents have had 4 and still have 2. They’ve put lots of miles on them and never had an issue. I enjoy driving them honestly. They ride and drive great. Awesome safety scores as well. I’ve considered buying one now in order to have it paid off and broken in nicely by the time my daughter...
  2. will a ceramic paint protector help?

The owner at this shop is married to a co worker of mine. They do good work. https://detailedlife.net/
  3. will a ceramic paint protector help?

My wife had it done on her Durango. GTechniq was the product. Well worth the investment and super easy to wash. She has had tar on the rockers and clean up was a breeze.
  4. My 62 Chevy C10 project

Hell yeah! If it drives good and keeps you dry while doing so then it doesn’t need a bit of work IMO. Rather have an old project than a brand new Debtmobile.
  5. New Tacomas are out

And turning your boxers around backwards when you go to bed.
  6. New Tacomas are out

I’d rather keep my old Silverado than go into $50K of debt just so I can drive Barbie’s pickup.
  7. Japanese mini trucks in bulk.

Let me guess, I have to PM you for the dealer’s contact info because they’ll only sell if you recommend the buyer?
  8. Anybody convert the headlamps to HID or LED units.

They’re expensive for sure, but totally worth it. Cheap LED bulbs scatter light like crazy in OEM housings. SV4 had a great pattern in my Jeep.
  9. Anybody convert the headlamps to HID or LED units.

Those SV4 lights are amazing. Really nice cutoff in Jeep headlight housings and super bright.
  10. Anybody convert the headlamps to HID or LED units.

LED bulbs are the way to go. Plug and play. I’ve done them in two trucks now. Just make sure you aim them properly or they’ll blind the piss out of oncoming traffic.
  11. Any idea of value for 2004 F-150 lightning?

Just post it for what you want and take offers. The car market is ****ed up just as bad as every other market. Don’t let the whiners tell you how to do it. Good for sellers and bad for buyers.
  12. Any idea of value for 2004 F-150 lightning?

AutoTrader has a few listed from $27K to $45K nationwide.
  13. Anyone on here powder coat rims?

I went to this business a few years ago looking to powder coat some wheels. They were super nice and the work they had around the office looked really well done. I never pulled the trigger to get my wheels coated though. May be worth giving them a shout anyway...
  14. R.I.P Ken Block Mr. KillAllTires

Wow. Such a good dude. Prayers up for family. So sad.
  15. TAVT dispute

What is your vehicle and valuation? Mine have always been spot on.
  16. Best place to buy used car parts/components

You could try Tallant Brothers in Cumming. They have a scrapyard and pulled parts, but if they don’t have the part they can order one. 4695 Oak Grove Cir Cumming, GA 30028
  17. 2014 truck with 14k miles

    Nice!
  18. 2014 truck with 14k miles

No doubt it would work just fine. My point is do you NEED it? That’s an easy NO. Unless the lifters have started to fail it isn’t necessary. Replace the lifters and what about the cam? That’s ground different. What about the excessive oil pressure from the upgraded oil pump? That would be a good...
  19. 2014 truck with 14k miles

Too much paranoia being thrown around in here. There is no question that the 6L80 and 5.3 is a strong setup. The bane of the 5.3 is AFM. Tune to deactivate the AFM and you’re good. Saying you need to replace lifters right off the rip is like saying a factory Glock isn’t good enough and you NEED...
  20. 2014 truck with 14k miles

I suggest CarFax. I was in the market for a truck recently and dodged a bullet on a 2014 Silverado. Odometer read 140K and CarFax showed 4 service intervals at 200K+. I confronted the buyer and he said that his “friend” entered the wrong mileage on the title when he purchased it, but still...
