My parents have had 4 and still have 2. They’ve put lots of miles on them and never had an issue. I enjoy driving them honestly. They ride and drive great. Awesome safety scores as well. I’ve considered buying one now in order to have it paid off and broken in nicely by the time my daughter...
My wife had it done on her Durango. GTechniq was the product. Well worth the investment and super easy to wash. She has had tar on the rockers and clean up was a breeze.
Hell yeah! If it drives good and keeps you dry while doing so then it doesn’t need a bit of work IMO. Rather have an old project than a brand new Debtmobile.
LED bulbs are the way to go. Plug and play. I’ve done them in two trucks now. Just make sure you aim them properly or they’ll blind the piss out of oncoming traffic.
Just post it for what you want and take offers.
The car market is ****ed up just as bad as every other market. Don’t let the whiners tell you how to do it. Good for sellers and bad for buyers.
I went to this business a few years ago looking to powder coat some wheels. They were super nice and the work they had around the office looked really well done. I never pulled the trigger to get my wheels coated though. May be worth giving them a shout anyway...
You could try Tallant Brothers in Cumming. They have a scrapyard and pulled parts, but if they don’t have the part they can order one.

No doubt it would work just fine. My point is do you NEED it? That’s an easy NO. Unless the lifters have started to fail it isn’t necessary. Replace the lifters and what about the cam? That’s ground different. What about the excessive oil pressure from the upgraded oil pump? That would be a good...
Too much paranoia being thrown around in here.
There is no question that the 6L80 and 5.3 is a strong setup. The bane of the 5.3 is AFM. Tune to deactivate the AFM and you’re good. Saying you need to replace lifters right off the rip is like saying a factory Glock isn’t good enough and you NEED...
I suggest CarFax. I was in the market for a truck recently and dodged a bullet on a 2014 Silverado. Odometer read 140K and CarFax showed 4 service intervals at 200K+. I confronted the buyer and he said that his “friend” entered the wrong mileage on the title when he purchased it, but still...
