    Land cruiser for sure if its not going to be a daily driver! Both are well built vehicles but the land cruiser would be the best for what you described.

You should also check out the Lexus gx460 they are based of of the Toyota prado overseas and share the same chassis as the 4runner but have the 4.6 liter v8 and third...

    If it was me any 96 or newer 4Runner would be a good one to consider. I have an 01 v6 4x4 with 335k on it. Land cruisers are also great vehicles and if you want something a little larger you may want to consider one of them.
