    Classic
  2. WHO YOU SAY IS THE GUITAR PLAYER

Yes he is also very talented. Johnny is legally blind. He has never driven a car. He is also a big admirer of Jeff Healey.
  3. WHO YOU SAY IS THE GUITAR PLAYER

I’ve ran into Johnny a few times in Nashville circles. He is an exceptionally nice person. The most humble super talent I’ve ever met. Yes he is phenomenal.
  4. WHO YOU SAY IS THE GUITAR PLAYER

Jerry Reed. One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Chet Atkins gave him the title of “certified guitar player”, in which there were only a handful that Chet ever gave that distinction. They played in the studio and onstage together countless times for decades. Jerry was one of the...
  5. The Iron Claw

Back when wrestling was regional. It was also much better, IMO. The Von Erichs were definitely huge stars around TX.
  6. WHO YOU SAY IS THE GUITAR PLAYER

There is no such thing as the greatest guitar player. It’s all subjective and too broad. Best at what? Technical playing? Writing/playing the best sounding stuff? Most influential? Best at a particular style? Of course the average guy will name his favorite player(s) from his favorite...
  7. The Iron Claw

Im surprised no one has seen this or has been intrigued by it. Oh well. There’s always Shane. For the 745th time.
  8. The Iron Claw

This movie was just released around Christmas. It is the story of the Von Erich family, professional wrestlers, and all the triumph and tragedy that make their story very intriguing. I have not seen it yet and though I very rarely go to the movies, I really want to see this one. I remember...
  9. Waited my entire adult life for this to happen!!! PANTERA LIVE!!!

They opened with suicide note when I saw them.
  10. Waited my entire adult life for this to happen!!! PANTERA LIVE!!!

I saw Pantera live and front row at the International ballroom back in ‘97. Loudest show I’ve ever been to. Loudest thing I’ve ever heard, fact. I had trouble hearing for a week, afterwards. Of course I saw them with Dimebag and Vinny. That was a crazy show. I liked it, though.
  11. NOT THE TITLE OF THE SONG( but we all fight our secret war)

It’s a beautiful song and heartfelt. The girl singer is magnificent. I relate to Joey and this song. This came out when I was in my late teens. I liked it then and I like it now.
  12. Who's the greatest, unknown guitar player?

Johnny Hiland. He’s a monster. Originally from Maine and now in Nashville. Legally blind. Complete gentleman. Nicest guy you could ever meet. Heavily influenced by the late great Danny Gatton.
  13. 1883

Tim McGraw is a cuckold of massive proportions. To heck with him and her. They are as anti 2A as any other Hollyweird couple. They don't mind making movies with guns, though. No, that's different because they are acting. Typical leftist hypocrites. Yellowstone is completely woke these days. It...
  14. MUSIC: What are you listening to right now?

Been jammin' to Doc Watson all morning.
  15. Yellowstone season 4 premieres tonight

It is on Paramount network, but will not be streaming on Paramount +...Kind of weird. Anybody going to watch? Starts at 8pm est, and will be a 2 hour premiere. Please add streaming links if you have them.
  16. The Wild And Wonderful Whites.

    Sloppy, slimy eggs?
  17. RIP Ned Beatty

He was in a ton of good movies. Ned was great. Sad news.
  18. Yellowstone

Season 4 is rumored to start on Father's Day, June 20. We'll see. It's going to be a blood bath when the Yellowstone sets out for revenge. It's better than any of the other crap on TV.
  19. Cobra Kai

Thread revival! I am anxiously waiting season 3, which they haven't finished filming because of the kung flu. Season 2 was a bit far fetched, IMO, and did not live up to season 1...Understandably so. Season 1 was really good and a tough act to follow. Season 2 wasn't bad, just not as good as...
  20. Real country music

George Jones or Coe. It's a toss up. George is tough to beat. The biggest problem with what's left of country music is authenticity. It is almost non existent. I don't care how pretty someone sings it if I don't believe them. Who the hell wants to drink whiskey by the campfire and listen to...
