  2. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Hmmm, thought I had it in neautral and stall, but maybe it wasn't quite locked in. Not exactly a smooth transition between selections. I will mess with it more when I go back next weekend. Just thought it was strange that you wouldn't be able to move it if it broke in the field. Dang thing is...
  3. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Well, I made the handles work. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a metric nut for the big bolt that is supposed to be for adjusting the handle height. Had my wife run it down with an impact wrench, while I twisted the handles. They are locked into the teeth on both sides now, and...
  4. Steal on a rear tine tiller

We assembled ours last evening. It was also soaked with oil, and no fluids were included. The handles fit horrible, as they will not lock into the teeth on both sides, and are crooked. Saw this in a couple of online reviews. Because of that, they will not tighten up, so they move a good bit. It...
  5. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Was it an actual policy, or just confirmation that you had purchased it? Only thing I have is my original order from Home Depot, showing that I purchased the extended warranty. Nothing in my spam folders.
  6. Steal on a rear tine tiller

I got the same email this morning about delivery between 4 and 8. I was about to leave the house a few minutes ago, and a big box truck pulled in. The guy was very nice and put it in my truck. It sure wasn't the delivery window I was expecting but was glad to finally have it.
  7. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Still waiting to receive mine. For you guys that bought the extended warranty, did you receive any paperwork or details? The order said I would receive something, but still haven't.

  9. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Exactly. I am a very patient person, but don't charge my credit card, give me a delivery date that has since passed, and not tell me what is going on. A little communication goes a long way.

    Haven't heard a word...........
  11. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Yep, me too. Don't know when it will actually be delivered, and I am out of town for a few days.
  12. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Still waiting. Getting a bit ticked now that they charged my credit card. Called customer service, and the lady opened an inquiry. Got an email later that said I should get it by Aug. 10th. Second bad order in a row with Home Depot. Think I am just about done with them.
  13. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Looks like I was charged for the warranty on the 23rd, and charged for the tiller today. I've heard absolutely nothing from Home Depot. Maybe that means it is shipping. Who knows?
  14. Steal on a rear tine tiller

Mine still shows delivery tomorrow, per the order confirmation, but haven't heard anything. Doubtful that it will arrive on time.
  15. Steal on a rear tine tiller

I ordered mine on the 17th, and received an order confirmation, but have heard nothing since. Originally, they said it would be delivered next Tuesday, but I'm beginning to have my doubts.

ODT is going to win the salesman of the month award.
  19. Steal on a rear tine tiller

I bought one too, for the same reason. And, it should be small enough that the wife can handle it easily.
