Can’t do it. 80% or more of the for sale adds would disappear. You’d be able to breeze through the classifieds in a flash. Keeping the old adds, re-listing over and over keeps “it” from going back in the safe, none of us want that either.
I’m not sure what other outlet people would use to sell their firearms locally for free. Charge the $ and don’t look back. I’ve used most all of the other options and they’re either sketchy or cost substantially more $.
Our classifieds will read like Craig's list when you look for something. I always look to deal with individuals first,but the adds are mixed together with dealers and it sucks. I don't look on Craig's list much,but that's what I remember,maybe it's changed now.
I like the fact that there is a separate dealer section. This way I know from the start If I'm comparing retail vs private sale when looking at something. Deals come and go so fast sometimes, it would be one less thing to think about.
