The Mayan people were from what is now Guatemala. Not Mexico,you must be thinking of the Aztecs, one of the other civilizations that was annihilated by the Spanish Conquistadors. -

Anyone ever stop to think that the reason the Mayan calender stopped was that the Spanish Conquistadors annihilated the Mayans into dust. I'm sure the guy making the calendars, received the same sword to the skull as the other natives holding all that gold. -

That's how I'm leaning! If the government knows something or conspires something, they're not gonna care about putting dead folks in a vault. BTW the NAZIS used incinerators and mass graves. Same in many other countries that has had catastrophes. Lots of Georgia power plants around. -

Like a vault. Those could be new style vaults from a vault company to sale to cemeteries. And the story could have been made up by the land owner, to stir the pot.
