It was NEVER part of the Bible. Ezekiel is tame compared to Enoch, but if you take it as a factual account, then Genesis 6 makes much more sense. And it tells how the angels who left their first estate (see the book of Jude) came and taught man all kinds of things.
Which one of the books of Enoch? I have read the first one. They didn't take it out of the Bible, though some have included. The book of Jude was almost left out because he mentions the prophecy of Enoch, along with other references he makes.

I'm with you on this. Did 9/11 'wake' people up, no. It made them even more willing to give up more liberty and allow more government intrusion, all in the name of safety and security.
