  1. Cougar? Mountain Lion? Lanky Coyote?

    Looks like a bobcat.
  2. And so it begins

He just might show up in the day. You could catch him at 1:30pm slipping to the nearest watering hole to get a drink. You never know. Good luck getting him.
  3. Sheds, anyone finding sheds yet?

I saw a couple fresh scrapes last weekend in Social Circle. Definitely not turkey scratches. They were scrapes. I saw a young 6 pointer a couple mornings ago right up the road from my house. He is hanging onto those horns like they are money.
  4. Sheds, anyone finding sheds yet?

Sometimes they shed in December, but most of them keep their horns until turkey season. At least that's the way it seems to me. I've seen plenty of horned bucks during early turkey season. Find the bedding areas and you will probably find a shed or two.
  5. I got does, i got does

Where there are does there will be bucks. Those does sure are tasty, though.
  6. 2 bucks fighting in the front yard

Friggin awesome to see! Notice the doe around the side at the 1:15 mark. Maybe they were stuck and maybe not. I've seen them lock up for a while. But come on man, you gotta change that radio station. Lol Great video
  7. Not mine but a friend in Montana sent to me big CAT

Lots of old timer westerners swore mountain lion meat was the best meat in the world. Very cool pic
  8. Black deer

The old timers of a South Ga club I was in swore there was a black buck on that place, back in the 80's. I never doubted them. That's a cool deer, for sure.
  9. Bear on the Move

Yeah looks like a big one. Good luck
  10. Some good ones,

    3.5 y/o I am guessing. Pretty buck.
  11. Bucks weight

Walton is about the same. 220-230 before rut, 200 after. Just guessing, of course. Same in Marion county. My brother shot a mature 10 point in Walton county this past season that weighed 235, live weight...Oddly, this happened in early December, so I am guessing that buck had put some weight...
  12. 2019 Velvet Pics

It will be interesting to watch their horns develop. Cool pics.
  13. Black coyote

Most of the coyotes we have in Marion county are black. Seeing a grey or white/black one down there is uncommon.
  14. Looks like there's....

Hang some meat and sit all night. Those deer killers need to go.
  15. Crazy 8

Probably broken from sparring or fighting. Happens all the time.
  16. He and I never can meet at the same time

He is a good mature deer. Those big old smart ones are wily, and that's what makes them trophies. Good luck. You still have time.
  17. Hard to pass up...

He is mature. That's my idea of a trophy. Play the wind right and you can have a good chance. Good luck
  18. Head Alpha caught on cam

    It's a donkolope!
  19. New Buck in Wilkes County

    Kill him.
  20. Show your 2016 superstars

I bought a new Moultrie camera and it is without a doubt the biggest POS I have ever seen. After setting it for 2 months I still did not get one single pic. The last time I went to check it I yanked it off the tree and shot it to pieces with my AK. It felt great.
