    yep.... this surefire forend is an antique.. but all I have is the pressure strip, and rather than buy a new unit for a firearm I seldom use, I figured I'd just improve it...

    I'm gonna upgrade my Maglite with the "D" prefix I keep in my truckside box... never owned a malkoff, but people such as yourself are claiming them to be an incredible piece of hardware..

    I will look into it... see, my old "sunburst".. surefire plain jane with the p60 bulb isn't even as bright as my streamlight pro tac 1l I carry on my belt... not to mention trying to center the beam on the wall because the old style bulbs are always canted one way or another... so...

    you guys and gals... would you go with the 175 or 325 lumens upgrade? which do u think would be better for home protection? you'd be looking at a 5 hour runtime vs 1.5 hours at 325 lumens forend light under a Remington 870...
