I think this was when APD was using an informant. Allegeadly the informant was sent into the house to buy dope. Came out and stated drugs in residence. Obtained search warrant based on that all lies. That is why I never used a informant for a controlled buy
There is a fine line. If you can stay below the Federal boys eyes and maintain mid level status you would have it easier. Mid level can keep you away from the dope and just let you call the shots. Once the Feds get interested in you it is over. But like anything people want more money, more...
On logic vs legality. Man murders loved one with knife. Time of arrest man carrying handgun. Logically handgun should not be seized since it was not used in the murder.
I remember that well. I told everyone that something wasn’t right about that story. That is why I NEVER used informants to do controlled buys, everyone of my 498 cases were hand to hand buys to me.
I just stated not weed because I didn’t make weed cases unles it was pounds. I understand your point and enjoyed debating it a little. I just think you are upset with the article about the guns and the way the laws are written. The weapons will be tagged photographed inventoried ran for stolen...
And the greatest best excuse is when you find drugs in a suspects pants and they state these are my brothers pants. Heard that one all the time.
I understand that. But you just found drugs. Not weed in a vehicle both persons state it is not theirs. Would you let them go based on their statements,
I understand that, but it is a just a news article. When I conducted just a simple hand to hand buy of crack or ice it took about 20 seconds, after that I had about three hours of paperwork. A search warrant would have pages and pages of reports and evidentiary items. Just to get a search...
Of course not because a good narc unit would have a couple guys watching the house for a long time before any search happens. Documenting video taping comings and going’s, like I said earlier if you want to know the whole story, the only way to get it would be sitting in a court room watching a...
Trust me odds are the occupants that lived their were identified and criminal histories run on them before the search warrant was issued. Prior felonies were known before entering. And everyone one of them probably stated those aren’t my guns.
I can’t speak for all suspects in all drug cases. Just probably a few hundred that I interviewed. It is extremely rare that you run across a dealer who is not a user. I am maturely curios about human behavior. I would talk to the ones I arrested off the record and having nothing to do with the...
