    I was concerned about that too, as I prefer to carry with the hammer back and safety engaged. After enough practice, disengaging the safety is as routine as activating a light/laser or even pulling the trigger.

    I carry a 1911 but that is out of personal preference. That may differ from many folk's preference. Whatever you choose to carry makes no matter to me, choose whats the best fit for you. I am intimately familiar with my CCW and can shoot it accurately. That is what matters the most.

  8. Left Hand, Ambidextrous and Off Handed Shooting

    I'm a southpaw who is right-eye dominant. I was raised shooting right handed but am quite comfortable shooting anything left handed, even a left handed compound bow. Took a lot of practice to get this far but I'm still not as proficient as I'd like to be.
