Greasy onion rings and a large Frosted Orange that will send me into a diabetic coma?
Yeah, I can do that.
Weather permitting, I'll ride in on 2 wheelz.
I don't own a really accurate pellet gun, but my break-barrel spring-piston airgun (shoots lead pellets at about 975 fps) is reasonably accurate, and currently has a 4X scope on it. If we wanted to have an "iron sights only" division, I'd consider taking it off.
I won't drive far to do a pellet gun match in person.
However, I wouldn't mind doing a "postal match" on the honor system where we agree on a specific target, a specific course of fire (what position, what distance, what time limit, how many rounds), and just do it on our own, in our own...
The weather forecast for Sunday afternoon
calls for sunny and a high of 67°
sounds perfect!
So, who can confirm they will attend
or are likely to attend?
I'm picking the date:
Sunday 11-19-23,
Arrive at Tom Lowe shooting grounds
at 2:30 pm. (Allows The entire morning for church, plus some drive time to the range)
I've been to Etowah Valley couple of times.
It's nice --I like that you control your own throwing machine so you can have the presentations you want. Very adaptable for novices-- or people like me that only do shotguns once a year!
BUT FOR THIS YEAR, I'm ALSO INVITING SOME FRIENDS FROM ATLANTA...

The Tom Lowe shooting grounds was formally known as the Wolf Creek shooting complex. It was the site of some of the shooting games from the 1996 Olympics

Well, that's not gonna happen, this year.
I suggest the Tom Lowe shooting grounds. A Fulton County public range just off Camp Creek Parkway not far from 285,
in between that highway and Fulton...
Bump.
Who else?
Ex313, I've never used an inexpensive over /under, but they seem like a good way to enter the world of clay-busting games without a big investment.
And if you keep the gun in good condition and save the box it came in you can probably sell it for 90% of what you paid if you...
Once a year in the fall I like to take out a couple of shotguns out of the safe to shoot one round of skeet or five stand with each of these guns.
I'm not a shotgun expert by any means; I don't shoot them very often. These days, if I break 10 out of 25 I feel I've had a good day.
WITH THAT...
I went last year, and it was great. But this year I'm gonna have to miss it;
I've got a seminar scheduled for several hours that Saturday.
happy birthday Don!!!
I had fun doing that Light Rifle thing last weekend.
Will the State match involve just 50 foot shooting, or will it include 50 yards as well?
(I guess I'll click the link in the OP and see.)
WELL, THAT LINK DIDN'T HELP.
Here's another one that indicates some matches have 3 courses of...
HB 1358 is the "constitutional carry" bill,
which makes having a Georgia weapons carry license optional. Anybody who is legally qualified to own and possess a handgun or long gun or other weapon may carry their handgun long gun or other weapon even in public-- away from their home their car or...
Did someone say Chinese buffet?
Yes, please!
Biker's hunnert-an-sumpin'-th birthday is as as good of an excuse to overeat as I've ever needed.
See y'all there.
I was volunteered to help my brothers with some hard physical labor in one of their yards on Saturday. Sorry I won't be able to go to Cartersville or play with guns.
This is my future:
Y'all have fun. Realtor, it was good meeting you at TruePrep a few weeks ago.
Thanks for doing this for the...
