But I still would not recommend keeping firearms stored in them.
They do stay warm when wet and are great for coats and uniforms as stated.
If the OP uses wool socks/scarves to store rifles in then I'd recommend checking frequently for rust/moisture.
Things are looking up, soviet. I've still those helmets for a song if you are interested.
Alleycat, at one pointing had an extensive collection of Mosins. I collection 91/30s by production; concentrating on all Tulas if possible. I've got 1920 thru 1944.
Howdy fellows I have not posted much in a while. Divorce. Picked up and moved out state. About to officially change states of residence.
I really miss getting picks of the litter on he Mosin Nagants at Howard's in Macon. I've still got most of my collection intact but have been in hell of...
No I would not help someone do something that goes against my principle. The thing is, even if you "dress up" the gun once the parts are separated the mag or original receiver cover will get lost eventually and it will never ever be a "matching" example again. I've seen it a hundred times over...
If I were the type to dispense advice, this would be it; I HAVE APPLIED THIS TO MYSELF:
Quit trying to understand everyone's thoughts and reasoning and appreciate the fact that they are gun owners who support the 2nd amendment.
I don't understand why someone would buy a new gun, shoot 100rds...
It started life as an M48 variant of some kind. May have been a BO model (export model with no crest on the receiver) The wide-arc bolt is factory M48.
They work! Nice pistols! I've owned several through the years. quality is top notch and accuracy was good. Priced 150-250 less one with the browning stamped on it.
Well they are not retarded. Just executing long term plans to slowly strangle gun ownership. I don't think we'll ever see them for sale after they retire them...even M9s...the liberal cry at the moment is "military weapons" dont belong on the streets. This will be smelted and made into boat...
Many times the inside of the gas tube will be rusted/pitted due to the previous use of corrosive ammo. Clean out the gas tube really well and make sure the pistol moves freely in and out. There could be burrs on the piston.
It's business. If they allow people to open carry loaded firearms and there is an accident they are liable and their insurance liability is huge. If there rules are "no one carrys a loaded weapon" into the store their insurance is much cheaper.
If I had a business firearm related or not and it...
Get a brass brush for your dremel tool, use clp and take the active rust off with it. Wont scratch the metal. If you just have too, you can cold blue whatever is patchy.
If you are really this in the wad of turmoil, you need to only do business with licensed dealers. Period. If I really were this paranoid there's no way in hell I'd ever sell or trade anything to anyone other than a local shop.
Print you out a stack of them bills of sale for your customers to...
That's an ARM regardless of furniture. Quality on a ARM is right up there with a MAK-90. This does not even merit comparison to a WASR. Daylight and dark, wasr being on the bottom of the pile compared to an ARM.
Were we discussing a MISR version, then yea, quality is not so good.
$650 in...
