Everything I own (as of right now) is 9, x39 and 12 gauge. Of course the 22 for plinking. I just as bought a stripped lower to build a AR in 5.56. I just want to have a little variety, but do not plan on going over board with it. I did have to talk myself out of a good deal on a .308 today. But...
Asc magazines have worked for me. With the c products I have had some that are finicky and the others works fine. Good luck with the search. Also I have many a 7.62x39 round through all 3 spikes lowers.
Can't go wrong by doing all 3.
1. AK
2. Ar 15
3. Ar 47
I am still working on number 2. Already built 3 Ar47 last year, I like them and have had no major issues. Still like the Ak to though. I will plan on doing a Ar 15 in the traditional caliber here soon.
CMMG is good, as well as spikes, psa. Have not had any issues with any of these LPK. Word of advice go ahead and buy a oops kit when you order the LPK, spare parts if you where to ever need them
As long as it is not affecting your family or another important part of your life, then there is not to much. Now you ask my wife and she may say different, until she shoots it and decides she likes it for herself. Good luck in your deciding of the near future
I have built 3 spikes lowers and have had no issues. Also heard good things about psa and Anderson. The deal that @insulinboy posted is a solid deal. I may go that route to build another one.
I like both, currently own both. But the kicker is all 3 of my ar is in the x39 flavor so can't really say a whole lot. But I do have plans to do a traditional ar build here soon. Probably after a 308. But I do like turtles better.
I have had good luck with asc and the c products. I got the c products from aim surplus. The other mags from hardened arms. I am more impressed with the c products.
