    A little 10 mm Excitement

  8. Walmart ammo and flippers

    Local store has a bunch of .270, one box of 22-250 and a few other such as 30-06 and 7 mag. No handgun ammo or .22 at all. Not much competition here.

    Check Hogue. Sometimes you can get lucky on the cosmetic seconds. Some are ugly but some are great. They usually have more conversion style than any other.

    I would carry my M&P in 9mm and the AR carbine. Wife would have the Ruger 10-22 and one of the S&W .357's. Dogs could carry extra ammo.

    Range report

    Nice revolver and good shooting OP. I have a 5" 625 that may be my favorite wheelie and a franken gun that is a 1917 frame with a 55 barrel fitted. Mikey357 - great collection. What is the one in the upper right - a nickel 25?

  13. What's your concern in a gun shop?

    Unless the "staff" are total jerks and/or unsafe, the main issues are having good selections and real world prices.

  14. 22 Ammo

    My LGD just got some CCI quiet and is asking $7.99. Saw a few boxes at the last Eastman show for $10.99. I want to try some with the segmented bullet to see how they will work on backyard pests, but I will not pay that price.

  19. Old Ammunition

    For modern ammo with no corrosive primers etc., heat and water are the main enemies when stored (assuming no oil/solvents get involved). If the be fine.cases are OK. you should be fine. Powerful round BTW.
