    Just yesterday... (GS employee) A ccw is very personal...I carry a revolver, he carries a revolver....you can carry what you want to but you should carry a relover. Kinda makes the first part oh his statement null and void...

    Hitting a 10" plate from a tree with no rest, unknown range and a 30sec shot window is a great shot for even the most seasoned of shooters.

    LOL wow just wow a 25' hold over! That's nothing! I could do that in the dark (provided its a full moon and I had a porterhouse for dinner)

    I don't want to even think about how much I would have to practice to feel confident enough at that range to take a shot at a live animal and be sure of a kill shot.

    I shoot a browning A bolt in .243wssm or a Ruger .44 carbine with iron sights don't need anything more IMHO in GA. Unless your hunting fields in south ga. Even then the .243wssm is a bad mutha out to 300yards

    My dad's 30-378 is dead nuts at 200yrds almost an inch high at 100 and about 4 1/2 low at 300 ~15 inches low at 400 so I use the range finder, anything "deer sized" between 100 and 300 hold dead on... Beyond that I aim at the top of the back. That's with a 160gr hand load. Super fun gun to...
