    Thoughts on a Stevens 107b in 16ga? I just picked one up at an unbelievable price. I’m looking forward to putting a few squirrels down with it in the next few weeks.

    That's the beauty of it. While I was over budget, I came in at $100 less than the RO compact and it has exactly what I want in/on it.

    I have upgraded a few rocks and a Springfield. If you're not positive that you will love the platform, buy a used rock for less than $400 and upgrade as you find parts that you like. This is the one I just finished. Rock officers model with a commander length top end on it. Shoots like a dream.

    I'm as broke as the next guy but I really wanted a sig C3. It got even worse when Springfield came out with the range officer compact, so I did something about it. I traded into a RIA officers model and ordered a commander Tac II slide from RIA. Then I installed a Storm Lake stainless match...
