I've seen 2 rifles discharge on the same day. It was the first range trip and nothing had been done to the rifles, except mounting the scopes. 1 discharged when safety was disengaged and the other when the bolt was closed.
Doesn't matter if it's an anti site. The problem with the Walker Trigger is real. I've done my own research and I've seen the problem with multiple different rifles over the last 14 years.
They seem unnecessary as long as the firing pin channel in the bolt is kept clean. If there is no crud for the pin to get stuck on, there will be no slam fire, so the spring isn't necessary. That's what I think. Also, use steel case ammo, which have harder primers.

The great thing about the Glock .40s is you can buy a conversion barrel and 9mm mags to shoot 9mm out of them. That way, you can shoot the cheap ammo and buy .40 during the panic.
