    Not Florida. Other, few, blue states verify state law (N.J. N.Y. etc.) as private transfers have been criminalized. Contact the ATF if you are concerned. As long as there isn't a law prohibiting it, you are good to go. Edit: You are correct, even gifting to a legal to own out state family...
