Picked up the new 21 a while back and does anyone know of a threaded barrel for it yet? Can’t seem to find one anywhere and while the Glock website shows a LH thread that doesn’t specify it won’t work with a Gen5, the RH threaded one does specify only for Gen3 & 4. I am assuming it will not...
I’ve had a Glock 21 for 25 years now. Thousands of rounds through them. Been through several generations now and just bought a Gen 5. If I had to grab one pistol in my safe, that would be it. That said my P220 would be my second choice and one of these days, I’ll get a 1911…
I added Geissele triggers to both of mine. Run an Aimpoint Comp M4 on one and the Elcan Specter DR on the other. Mine have the reciprocating charging handle, but I’ve never had a problem with it. I just put it on the AK side.
I carry a Glock 43 when I am hiking around the southeast. I’ve walked most of the Pinhoti trail with it in an Alien Gear holster with the backpack strap attachment. If I were going west, where allowed, I would probably pick up a 10mm, much larger and heavier, but packs a bigger punch. For...
I’ve used both. Was a member at Quickshot since they opened until recently when I moved out of the city. I always liked Quickshot as a member. Stoddards has a nice Range too.
Remember when PSA had it cheap? That’s when I bought it. I don’t have a lot, but was able to fill up 30cal ammo can and I’m hanging on to it. Good SCAR food, but probably not as good as Gold Dot, I’ve picked that up in the 150gr and 168gr flavors for not much more.
That’s what I would think. FN builds the same contract rifles as Colt, so the FN-15 models would likely be comparable. I have a couple of FN rifles, but neither are AR’s.
Nothing wrong with either of the Spikes AR’s I have.
I’ve tried a thigh holster, it seemed to work okay. I don’t see myself using one for hiking though. IIRC the thigh rig I had a while back rubbed my leg a bit raw when were were working at deer camp.
There are a bunch of attachments and options for this Alien holster. I bought the paddle to...
I’ll have to check out that Kenai.
The one I am looking at from Alien actually attached to the shoulder strap of the backpack. But, from the looks of it can be easily swapped to a paddle or other base. I like the idea of having it on the strap when I am walking, but switching to a OWB once...
