Awesome. I'm always happy to give away money for more things I don't need. Tractor Supply is one of my favorite stores, although the Northern Tool is closer and has most of the same stuff.
Well there are more than 148 members here so I guess collectively it is possible, although very unlikely ;)
How about 252 different J-frames? I'd think that would cover it assuming (1 N frame = about 4 J frames, 1 K=5 J, L=3, I,X=6). Yes there's stainless, blued, nickle, titanium....
The one on 124 S. of 78. Hell, PM me if you need a box, I probably have 10-15 laying around, I'm more than happy to let a fellow OTD'er enjoy it if I'm not!
*edit* Academy usually has it too on 124 between Snellville and Lawrenceville.
For the mag. I don't often check .17 as I don't have one. Also, my varmit shots are usually limited to 100yds and closer due to the amount of heavy brush. If I'm going for distance I'll switch to my 7.5x55 Swiss.
I've got 4 .22 mags, but never owned a .17. Shot a few but wasn't real impressed. The .22 mag is decent (not good, just decent) in brush, the .17 wasn't.
I have heard quite a bit from Vietnam vets on how they preferred the AK over just about anything we had...especially the M16. What do I know, I'd rather the Garand and just shoot through whatever you're hiding behind as you change uppers/do pushups on your rifle.
Bought one of these, they're awesome. Mine was in great shape (no cracks, parts weren't worn, etc) and it only took a PSA lower and a 20" pencil barrel and I was in business. Note: the 20" tapered barrel is WAAAAYY more expensive than most other barrels of the same quality. I'd suggest a good...
I've got the Savage. No, it's not heavy like my old 10/22 but it functions perfectly fine and I've got 3 mags that haven't given me any problems as of yet. Plus, for $220 brand new, it's threaded, got the accu-trigger, and as accurate as the 10/22.
The Ruger American I haven't used in .22...
Couldn't tell you off the top of my head, but I'll offer ya $100 for it :D
Seriously though, find someone with an up-to-date blue book, that'd be your best bet.
I'm not hoss, but right now the skill level required is easily equal for both. You have to be adept at programming for a 3D printer, it's not just load your files and go like many believe. If you can get a file that has the drawings, great, but you still have to input them into the machine...
Expensive now, yes. In the next 10-15 years, laser sintering is slated to grow at a tremendous rate. A lot of the major patents are set to expire in the next year or so, expect to see costs on machines and products to drop significantly.
As for quality...well, it was mentioned before. You...
I'm probably a loner here but I actually prefer my Beretta NEOS over the MKII and MKIII I had. Easier to clean, trigger is about equally crappy, and I'm much more accurate with it. It's a bit heavier but the rail on the top make scope mounting a cinch. I carry mine in the field if I'm not...
We'll judge that, pics or it doesn't count! :p
Also a .30 carbine would make a decent round, I've seen older bolt guns that had been converted to this caliber in the 50s and 60s.
Practice, practice, practice. I used to could hit running jack rabbits with a lever action .22 growing up. Granted, there were usually only 2 or 3 at the most and a lever gun (IMO) is quicker to cycle than a mauser style bolt, but it's not impossible. You just miss a lot when you're learning. :D
Rangers were organized long before 1873. I'd have to vote for the 1847 Walker Colt .44 Revolver. It's been brought up a few times but never passed I do believe.
I've had only good experiences at Creekside, follow the rules and you'll be fine. I use a popsicle stick painted orange with spray-paint for my chamber flag. I managed to hit the 12"x12" target from the back of the range (540 yds) 4/5 times with open sights with a K31 and sold my other K31 on...
