  1. Adventure Outdoors…..opinions

Pretty much the only thing Adventure Outdoors has going for it is the massive selection. They're routinely more expensive than every other gun store though.
  2. FB RADOM VIS MODEL 35 Chrome 9mm Polish Pistol from 1930's.

I'd just go by auction results, they typically go for $900~1300 depending on condition.
  3. Suppressed PDW: Which Reigns Supreme?

MP5 platform is hard to beat when it comes to suppression with PCC's. Personally I'd say just get an MP5K clone, sbr it, and fit it out with a folding stock and front grip. For the best suppression you want something that actually has a delaying mechanism. So roller delayed blowback beats...
  4. Favorite .22 pistol

Beretta 70S in 22lr. Fits perfect in my hands, steel frame, is cool as hell, and even has some military provenance. More commonly you'll see the Beretta 71, which is the same but with an aluminum frame. Main flaw is the mags are rare and cost like a $100 a pop.
  5. Shot show 2023 bond arms lever action ar15 lower!

So obviously more for ban states, but I think this could look pretty sweet with some wooden furniture. Apparently PSA is resurrecting the HMG STG44 so they're gonna make em in four calibers: 8mm Kurtz, 7.62x39, 5.56, and 300blk. I'm really hopin it works out cause I would be in for a...
  6. Y'all seen the new FN Hi Powers? Stainless, FDE, etc...

Really cool, do wonder why both they and Springfield don't make a version with a rail though. I mean if you're already making an FDE version of the Hi-Power than adding a rail isn't going too much further.
  7. What's your take on the firearms market?

I think the market could be in a for a bit of a downturn. Last two years people have been buying guns literally faster than they could be made, and that's not something that could keep up forever. Also a lot of early covid panic buys have been coming onto the used market. If the dems get any...
  8. Suppressed rimfire question

It's been great so far, can't say I really use it in the K format but it's a nice feature to have. Works great with my 10/22 and MK IV.
  9. MP5k Goodness!

They can get pretty expensive, but they do look awesome. The only trouble I think people have had is getting an HK 9mm ejector lever has been a bit hard the last couple of years, but you can find em pretty easily now.
  10. MP5k Goodness!

I've got an AP5P, SBR'd it and it an MP5K-PDW clone with a choate stock. Really the only issue it had was ejection issues, which you'll see are somewhat common online and more so with the AP5-P's. Fixed the issue myself by replacing the ejector lever and extractor with new ones from HKparts...
  11. Mp5 22lr stock on 9mm... Nope

I'd just wait for Atlantic to restock on the MKE A3 stock imports. Or get a Zenith if you don't mind the giant Z on the back.
  12. Suppressed rimfire question

Haven't metered it but I do know that with my Rugged Oculus, my Ruger MK IV is louder than my 10/22 using CCI standards. It is the barrel length, what suppressors are doing is giving the gas more volume to expand and creating turbulence to slow that gas down before exiting the barrel. Pistol...
  13. CZ cancels P10's and stops CZ USA production

Ah, that explains why they kept discontinuing popular stuff. I do wonder if given the state of the Turkish economy they wanna move more production there. That makes sense for civilian sales but I thought the whole point of them buying Colt was to get more US production and net some contracts...
  14. ATF wait times, help me understand this BULLS***

Waited over a year for my first form 4 stamp, have gotten eform 1's in as little as two weeks. My understanding is that with Covid part of the reason paper forms slowed down so much is that ATF examiners were working from home. So they would have to grab a stack of forms to bring home to...
  15. Mak 90 furniture

You have to take the stock off to see. Some are straight cuts at the back like normal AK's and others have a slant cut. The theory I've read on that is they were gonna be underfolders before the '89 import ban came. If you have a straight cut then regular AK furniture should work(that is...
  16. West Taiwan Vs. East Taiwan

Yeah it was a fun build to do, also have a T91 clone I put together from a Wolf A1 upper. P&W the muzzle device onto the standard 14.5" barrel and had the FSB swapped out with a milspec one.
  17. West Taiwan Vs. East Taiwan

Which China is best China? So recently picked up the Chicom AK. Had a non-spiker before and always regretted selling it. I've always had a thing for the Chicom style, probably from playing too much Battlefield Vietnam, so spiker was the way to go the second time. Rifle on the bottom is a T65 I...
  18. AR15 to 9mm questions

I did a Colt SMG build a while ago and haven't had any issues. Used a Hahn precision insert to use Colt mags. Magazines are from Metalform. For the buffer I used this 9mm kit from Angstadt. BCG was from Toolcraft. Trigger was a standard mil-spec trigger.
  19. Most Fun .22 LR Rifle?

I really like my Ruger Mini-Mini-14 build. Still waiting on a threaded barrel though, ordered one from Ruger months ago and they still haven't shipped.
  20. Taiwanese Rifles

So what was your situation, rounds FTF? I'm curious since the general consensus I read is that in most situations jamming a round that wouldn't go in is usually going to make the problem worse. I do know the Army also said they wanted it specifically for the psychological value of soldiers...
