Thanks for the info. A lot of people are getting in to/ back into handgun hunting. A Few people are using 10mm to even take down elk. Don't get me wrong my rem700 does the job just fact more of a challenge.
This is my setup. Fde g20 also have a older 6in Glock barrel I picked up that was new but that don't make me a better shot. Has HD sights that I don't believe help for hunting.

I'd like to shoot it but don't want to damage it or cause any issues. Don't think parts are available. Question how do you go about decocking it out seeing if it is or does it hold pressure on the pin don't want to pull the trigger on a rim fire? Just want to make sure its stored in good shape.

Have to look for a cat number. Wonder what it's worth I had to pay my aunt a good amount for it. But still feel as I didn't lose a large amount. Hard to put a price on family guns. Especially with the cool story behind it
Thanks for the info guys. This gun has no matching s/n may be whys it's a Olympic and 22lr it being a army gun and used for compations guess they swap around parts to get a tight fitting gun.
Yea this is definitely one. My great great uncle competed with it in the Olympics. He was a sniper and advance firearms instructor at fort benning. All the info I know on it was recently passed Down/sold to me. My uncle who recently passed knew all the info on it and that knowledge went with him
