Definitely be interested in seeing the Martini markings. Short lever, so it's a MkI, or MkII (or MkI converted to MkII. If it's a MkI that hasn't been upgraded, that's a whole different ballgame)
Curious about the percussion as well.
I have seen Belgian copies where the only proofs were on the cylinder face.
Of course it's hard to tell from pics, but that's a pretty solid looking 'copy'. Will be curious to hear more about it.
There's a publication titled 'A History Of Webley Pistols And Revolvers' by B. Smith. I seem to remember seeing a copy of it for sale at a gun show a while back...it's available on Amazon. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was pretty detailed.
