PHLster holsters have been my favorite. I got the floodlight (Old style not the floodlight 2 which is the new current version) and got the pro series. I've cycled through various holsters but these have been my best for me.
You're on the right track thinking about the cz 52. It's chambered in 7.62x25 tokarev and inspired by the Walther PPK/PPK. Hint, only 15 of these were made during WWII.
M1 Carbine - this is the "round" bolt as opposed to the older bolt design which was known as the "flat" bolt (had a lightning cut making it more wedge shaped). The reasoning was to make for more bearing surface and the newer round bolt had slightly more length to prevent out of battery firing...
.357 if you're talking sheer power especially at longer ranges would be the winner. It has way less ballistic drop. Also if your talking about getting those giant bull moose or bears with strong body tissues (people body tissues are like paper mache in comparison), long thinner slugs penetrate...
It's the Seely Night Sight invented in 1911 and patented in 1912. 1902 was the first attempt at a weapon light, but the Seely was the first one to function under recoil via delicate Swiss watch springs and rubber cushions for the little bulb.
I was never in the military. All I know is there were old school Surefire lights used on carbines back in the mid 90s. What caught my attention was they were clamped onto the barrel.
