    CMP getting 99,000 more Garands

    This thread got me thinking (I know!; Trouble!). I bought my International Harvester Garand around 15 years ago for $350 bucks from an old guy that came in the range a lot. That was on the cheaper side back then but have you seen the prices NOW?!! Goot Lort! Makes me feel OLD!

    Reasonable enough answer. To me, the softer shooting is not a big deal. the Garand already shoots pretty softly (to me). As far as the accuracy goes. It is important but we are comparing the difference in a pie plate and a soup can at a few hundred yards. Doesn't seem like a big difference...
