I have been frying 2 turkeys every thanksgiving for about 20 years. Oil is expensive for one use per year but that’s what the family likes. It’s a lot faster than smoking one also.
Been frying ours for about 15 years. Always inject it the night before with creole butter injection. Everyone always loves it. Thinking about going oil less.
Friend of mine makes it just grating up the cabbage very fine and adding blue plate or dukes mayonnaise and garlic pepper till he likes the taste and texture. Always tastes good to me.
Yep. I cooked some fresh sausage, it was actually walking 2 weeks ago , eggs scrambled light, cheese grits , bacon and biscuits last night. Love me some breakfast for supper.
