No joke. I strain mine through cheesecloth and keep it in the fridge. My fryer holds 2 1/2 gallons. Every time I fry, I filter 2 gallons to reuse and discard a half gallon. Then add a half gallon of new the next time and no taste. Even if it was a fish fry.

I love steak. All by itself. But for those that marinate, do yourself a favor. 2 TBSP olive oil, 2 TBSP Worcestershire, 1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning, 1 tsp Cafe Bustelo Espresso coffee. Let soak for at LEAST 2 hours. The longer the better. Enjoy.
I was in Nashville one night and hit a taco food truck. Got a pork belly taco topped with pickled watermelon rind. It was awesome. Been a fan ever since. And LOVE some burnt ends.
