I tried beef heart one time after following the recipe of one of those online chef chicks.She swore it tasted like roast. I precisely followed her directions and it still tasted like ass.

Anyone ever grown any? I picked up a couple of plants during a trip to St. Augustine earlier this summer. I thought that they would add a little heat to my pickled sweet peppers. Anyway I am pretty sure they are straight from the pits of hell and will light you up in a hurry!
Never tried a wrapped turkey breast, will have to try it. Seems to me the breast is so lean that an amateur may easily over cook it. On the other hand, butts or shoulders are very forgiving for the beginner.
