Don’t let one or two sour deals affect your outlook. You’re always going to find unreasonable assholes but there are plenty of others who aren’t. If no one bites on your offer that means only that no one in this limited audience space is interested. That’s it. Try elsewhere.

No bother really, just an observation. I did a quick search for "pricing" and found nothing so I reckoned this was a good time to start the dialog on this topic.
Yes i get it there are several "Stragities" in the "art of the deal". But some I've seen are waaaay out of the haggle norm. The best deals on the forum seems to be black rifles, especially those without any pedigree.
I have an old Savage 308 rifle that looks like a battlefield pickup. It has been used to killed dozens of deer, pigs and coyotes. It must be worth a fortune.
To be clear I'm not knocking the forum. On the contrary I enjoy perusing it. But I do wonder what some of these folks are thinking with the pricing. As they say there are folks that like to display their items and others who like to sell. I see lots of items on display.
For example Outdoor Adventures has a boatload of used Glock 22s and some 23s for just a tad over 400. They may even have night sights,but not sure. Yea they are trade-ins but you know most LE folks don't shoot unless its their compulsory qual. Compare that with the used listings.
Is it me or are many of the folks listing their used guns high because they expect to play the haggle game for their listed prices? With few exceptions many of the used guns listed could be obtained new for equal or less cash in stores. Just my observations. I'm new to the forum but I've been...
