I prefer to have a conversation with whomever, them being buyer or seller. To me its more personal and civilized, much easier to ask or answer questions and build a rapport. It's simple enough during the conversation for the seller to ask for the buyer to put an I'll take it on the listing.
Damn right and if that's your collection I am envious
Oh and I have a black holster rig that I've gotten to fat to wear I'll make a good deal to someone
So what about all of the Remington 700 LRH and varmints that are being hunted with. There is hardly a spit difference in them and the PSS and there are countless sniper teams using it including the one I was on
The little bit of gleam I put in my dad's eye was used up in the 1960's, now Im getting mail from AARP. As far as my LE history, with 20 yrs total and not a hell of a lot to show for it I wish I had been smarter and found something else to do.
No offence in the least. I just think it's funny as hell that people think that means something special to say sniper rifle when all it really is (hopefully) is an accurate rifle.
Even though there are several pieces of paper that say I have earned the title for LE sniper you will never see me list any rifle as a "sniper" rifle. I will leave that for the wannabees
No not by a long shot,,, BUT I am a state certified sniper through POST, and I attended several long range coursed with the AMU at Fort Benning during the time that I was on SWAT as a sniper. PLUS I trained with the FBI at GlynnCo and we did urban live fire with the Marine Corp.
Absolutely!!!,,, yes it has. This is as bad as the dumbazzes I see at a firing range in full turn out gear because they are shooting a military type weapon. XBOX and Playstation have ruined the world.
I keep seeing listings for "sniper" rifles. My question is did a sniper build it or does a sniper own it. If not how is it a sniper rifle? If so, is the sniper self proclaimed or did he pay his dues and go through the training to earn the title.
If a true sniper doesn't own it or didn't build...
A-damn-men,,, I have a bike posted for 600, contact wants to know if I'll take 500, I said make it 550 tomorrow and I will. He replies "no thanks". Hell then I even offer to take some type of trade to make up the difference, no response.
Another damn thing I can't stand is calling whatever weapon "tactical" or a "sniper" rifle. If you do then you have been trained in some type of tactics and that particular weapon has been utilized while using those tactics. I'm a state certified sniper and have been to several classes while on...
I have to agree with you. If I have something for sale or trade and the sale price is say 500.00 then my trade price is 500.00. Just don't try to blow smoke up my azz and convenience me that your 300.00 item is worth 500.00. If you look at the bottom line I have done better than expected on some...
the best deal I've seen in a long time is the Robar 338 RUM with 80+ rounds of ammo for 1700
that's over 250.00 worth of ammo alone, Oh and it has a 150.00+ case that comes with it
