    Looking at the pictures it is an automatic, which would be the 48re mated to the 5.9 Cummins. Last year before all the DPF crap and generally the most sought after. Mine just crossed 200k and is strong as ever!

    If I hadn’t just stepped up to a 2500 it would be in my short list. Super clean 1 owners are hard to find. My regular cab ‘01 Z71 just crossed 243k and still knocks down 17+ mixed driving.

    As already mentioned the B would indicate it had the aluminum block L33 5.3. They had the better flowing 243/799 heads, a slight bump in compression with the flat tops, and a bit hotter cam. They’re great engines and only put in the ‘05/06 crew models.
