Pull the op Rod back, lock it to rear . Then look on the barrel near the exposed area where the op Rod would sit when released. -

The P is a proof stamp. Some will have them , some won't . The pressed stamp on the side of the stock showing GA/CMP is a dead give away of a new wood, not authentic GI wood from WW11 / or post war wood. Ok , I'm gonna leave you alone . I don't want to be a hinderance to ha. Honestly , GLWS. -

Since the reciever is Springfield, is the barrel the same name. If not look at the barrel, provide the makers name. Trigger mechanism , trigger should have makers name on it, the housing should also have makers name, trigger guard also. Is it milled/stamped part ? The stock is a Cmp stock , so... -
