    Pull the op Rod back, lock it to rear . Then look on the barrel near the exposed area where the op Rod would sit when released.

    The P is a proof stamp. Some will have them , some won't . The pressed stamp on the side of the stock showing GA/CMP is a dead give away of a new wood, not authentic GI wood from WW11 / or post war wood. Ok , I'm gonna leave you alone . I don't want to be a hinderance to ha. Honestly , GLWS.
