The story behind small primers in .45 ACP
.45ACP is "supposed to be" large pistol primer. However, for whatever reason, there are a couple ammo manufacturers that have a line that uses small pistol primers. Best I can figure is that it is to save time on tooling changes on the loading machines when they switch calibers.
Just going to leave this for anyone with a P22 that isn't performing well, I think it is a great piece of reference material.
