I thought I could stop cold turkey. Wrong! so I slowly reduced but I would advise a bland diet until your body adjust. They call it acid rebound and its no joke. I dropped down to a pill every other day for two weeks then every third day.
if you get on any of the PPI's,especially prilosec,be prepared to be on it forever or set aside some time for a withdrawel period. I took it for a year at the advice of my doctor but decided to manage my diet,lose some weight and get healthy but the first 2-3 weeks of trying to wean my myself...
I quit 15 years ago but from time to time I still think about it. I truly enjoyed it. Especially the Copenhagen Black! I see a lot of those tobaccoless alternatives everywhere and Ive flirted with trying them until I read the reviews.
I have trouble myself partly my own fault because I have a caffeine addiction but even if I abstain I still cant sleep well. Melatonin helped but I always seemed groggy and dizzy the next mornig. Never tried the CBD but it you do and it works let us know. Id love a good night sleep.

But seriously Im with you about the removal of breakfast. it was rough at first but once you adjust youll wonder why you ever wasted mornings eating.
diet is the key. Im over 50 and I changed the way I eat and was able to drop fat and keep my muscle. (not a big mind you but still) and the best part is that I was able to drop my 1 pill a day acid blocker that Ive been taking for two years. Those things are terrible for you.
