    Been there and done that. Was a functioning drunk for several years in the late 90's... Slowed way down and now because of diabetes; haven't had a drink in 5 years or so.

    My A1C has been in the 4s since December 2021 (it was 9.9 in November). As a mater of fact my endocronologist has cut my Metformin in half and expects to take me completely off it in August. This is all from previous damages done; not current conditions.
