@FLcracker I’ve got a TA31 and TA01 with no real complaints but started this thread to inquire on if their are better options.
The RMR is still a solid optic for pistols but their have been significant advances in the last 24 months to which have nearly eclipsed the OG type 2 RMR lol
I’ve found some optic ready pistols allow the optic to sit up too high and I find myself holding/shooting them a little wonky just to get a clear site picture.
I don’t like that type of shooting and can see how others have experienced this as well.
Now get yourself a properly milled down...
Trijicon was ahead of the game but I think the new electrical components may have put the nail in the coffin for them.
They need to really step up and either drop the prices or develop some newer technology
Makes sense. I was just stepping outside to set up the sprinklers in the backyard and carried my nightstand gun with me since I’m out in the woods. You never know if a fox or coyote is lounging in the tree line.
And then I see it’s instant fog lol, I’ll just take a Glock outside with me next time
First world problems but could be an actual issue.
Just walking outside from my house 75 degrees to 91 degrees… seconds later she sweats and fogs up rendering the optic useless.
I swear Sig markets this optic as both waterproof and fog proof.
