Thanks! Those start at some $2500 and up and are most excellent. I am trying to get one in the $1k to $1.5k range. I do not shoot from a bench except to sight in.

a Japanese made monarch scope will deliver 95% Swarovski performance for 1/4 the cost...Philippine made...not so much
  7. What’s the absolute best 1” hunting scope (no price limit)

IOR Valdada scopes are made with "Schott" glass, same as in Zeiss, and other high-end scopes for about 1/3 rd the cost. I prefer a fixed power scope.
  8. Best scope for 22LR competition?

Don't know about competition, but the Nikon Rimfire has a reticle calibrated for standard velocity ammo.
  9. Are Daniel Defense Fixed Sights worth the money?

If there is a downside, in my personal experience, is that if you only sight in and use one aperture, a good rifle will group fine. if you switch apertures from the small to the large after sighting-in, the group will shift about 4 inches @ 100yds. LMT sights do not do this.
