  1. Neat gadget discovered

I just screw a self-drilling screw where I want the vent. When I get ready to pour the gas I remove the screw. Don't put it all the way back in and it's easy to take out with your fingers - no need for a wrench Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  2. Zinc poisoning

I always watch out for the nasty looking white/yellow cottony looking smoke and Ash from the galvanizing. It'll show up soon after you start welding. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. Zinc poisoning

I've had metal fume fever a couple of times, even with good exhaust ventilation and it sucks (no pun intended). Mine was never as bad as yours though, just felt like crap for a day and had to leave work sick. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. I stopped breathing in my sleep

I sleep so much better with the CPAP that I actually have to take medicine to make me sleep past 2:30-3:00am when I go to bed at 9:00-9:30pm As far as not wanting to do anything when you get up, before in injured my ankle a year or so ago, I would get up and either run 3 miles or jump rope for...
  5. I stopped breathing in my sleep

CPAP is definitely worth any trouble they may be. When I did my sleep study, they found out that I was stopping breathing 47 times per hour. My blood oxygen level dropped to 82% while I was sleeping. The second night of my sleep study, I woke up after 2 1/2 - 3 hours of sleep. I'd rested so...
  6. I stopped breathing in my sleep

I've been using a cpap for about 9 years. I'm so used to wearing it, I put the mask on, even when I'm taking a short nap. I don't breathe through my mouth while I sleep, so I can use nasal pillows. I highly recommend that type of mask if your able to use it, in the place of a full face mask
  7. Weird calls

My wife just got the call from the guy claiming the she'd left her number on his car. He was trying to find out who we are insured by. He gave her some attitude, she gave some back, then hung up on him. Number was an Albany number.
  8. Attn: Rdkill

Thanks, y'all. I looked at the picture on a bigger monitor than my phone screen and it does look a lot like a suction hose off of a farmer's nurse tank, with a spiral, instead of banding.
  9. Attn: Rdkill

I'm thinking this is a banded water snake. What are your thoughts? http://henrycountyreport.com/?p=3256 Thanks for your input
  10. Blood Pressure Med Questions

I discovered that I had high bp in 2007, after a late-night visit to the ER with bp in the same range as yours. The meds will make you feel tired and sluggish until you get used to them. Do you snore? I asked my doc about sleep apnea and he prescribed a sleep study. The study showed that my...
  11. Norinco SKS Sporter that takes normal AK mags

My dad has one of these, too. He's been wanting to sell it, so I've been asking around and $450 seems to be a number that keeps popping up. I've only asked friends that buy, sell, and trade some guns, so this is only the opinion of some of they guys that I know.
  12. What kind of snake is this

    LOL
  13. What kind of snake is this

The one above in the first post is an eastern hognose, sometimes called a spreading adder. The one in the pic is a gray, but they also are found in and orange/red variety. One of my middle school teachers had an orange one, named "Lester". These snakes are cool. When threatened, they flatten...
  14. Meatwad is going to have to make a rant thread :(

Post #29 hits the nail on the head. I constantly tell my wife to stop expecting anything from other people. When they don't live up to her behavioral expectations, she gets irritated. I, on the other hand, do not expect any type of decent, moral behavior from others and am seldom disappointed...
  15. Boycott McDonalds at McGinnis Ferry&Peachtree Industrial - Johns Ferry

A guy I work with ordered a couple of chicken wraps for himself and his girlfriend. When they opened the wraps, they noticed pick marks in the tortillas, like something had been picked off the outside of the wraps. When they unrolled the wraps, the insides of the tortillas were blue, with mold...
  16. Going Home

You must be staying in Dothan. If you have a camper, there are some places that were set up nearby to the paper mill and Farley for folks, who work construction. The one on Hilton-Damascus road is in the country and away from all that commotion. The campground in downtown Columbia should not be...
  17. Maybe its just me .

It does get frustrating, searching for ads in SW Georgia and getting results with Newnan listed as the location.
  18. My best Christmas in 23 years

Congrats and keep up the good work!
  19. losing weight

Since we're giving updates...... I've lost more weight since my last post. I've gone from 319, this past March to 245 lbs, now, for a total loss of 74 lbs. My wife has lost 50 lbs as of my last account. We've been taking a break from the dieting for the past couple of weeks, but are about to...
  20. losing weight

Enjoy the lifting, while you can. At 30, I lifted 5 days a week and played racquetball on a daily basis. Now, at 42, I have arthritis in my knees. Whenever I get up, after sitting for a while, my knees pop and crack, until I get them limbered up. I blame it on high school football (offensive...
