    I say drop it. It ain't worth the $1200. Take it as a lesson learned. If a friend is in a pinch I will give them some cash, but never a loan. It ruins the friendship.     Ditto on River Bend Gun Club. That is the spot. Don't need to be a member to shoot in the matches. I shoot service rifle and all the CMP stuff.

  12. Bullet Proof Vest - Any civilians own or owned one?

    I have a level IIIA vest. A cop buddy gave it to me when he got issued new gear. I helped him get on the Gwinnett SWAT team with some precision rifle shooting coaching. It is with my home defense AR-15 and incorporated into an Eagle plate carrier rig. Also has a soft plate in front, extra kevlar...
