    Not necessarily true. Depends on the insulation and the windows 3.5 ton is right on spec for 2000 sq ft

    I’m in the business and my wife knows it’s always gonna be cold in the house! I sweat all day and I’m not gonna do it in my house we have plenty of blankets! Stays between 62 and 65 in the winter and 65 and 69 in the summer!

    It’s better to keep it at a set temp than go back In forth it will save you money in the long run

    The new equipment is not 17 seer and up it’s 15 seer and up on a/c’s and heat pumps are still 14 to 14.5 seer

    If you got a whole system replaced at 4k I’m totally impressed! That’s a steal no doubt! I own a small hvac company and couldn’t come close to that price hope they treat you right!

    Now if it’s a heat pump and air handler it’s gonna probably be 14 seer let me know what they quoted you and I can help out. I’ll say 4k sounds very cheap depending on what there installing

    13 seer is no longer available almost every a/c and coil now it 15 seer. Are they installing the whole system and what is there warranty?

    Also Dave am I missing something the only way you use to be able to buy equipment pre charged is with a epa license. Has that changed?
