Yep. Its hooked up to an Ooma voip line with a pulse to tone converter. Sends and receives calls. The converter pulls voltage off the phone line, which interferes with the ringer operation. So with the converter on it rings once but doesn't continue due to low voltage. Without the converter...

I’d cram it full of hardware cloth or something similar for a backer, then bondo, the stuff without the fiberglass hairs. Sand and paint. That’s how I repair things like that at work.
